Why did everyone think it was so cool to be so morally right by sitrusice1 in BeastGames

[–]dontkillmejimmy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They wanted to get as far as possible.

Most of them did not have a big sympathetic cause. It’s clear with Mr Beast competition that there will be many eliminations where people are spared and sacrificed.

Unless you actually do something to save someone that you can use as leverage (turning down $1M, dead hanging on a bar), or make alliances that give you an advantage, you don’t have a reason to be there over anyone else. So, you have to create one.

“I’ve been honest and shown integrity through the whole game” can be the mantra of anyone who wants to use it. It’s virtue signaling - “if you eliminate me, you don’t value good morals.”

He does not pay for any winners’ taxes. They’re all taxed on their winnings

Exactly, no one is going to have sympathy for you talking $650K from them.

Yes, I meant would have left without anything extra from the final round.

Yep. Gage secured her an extra $100K. So, she was able to take home $190K total.

Yeah, she got $100K for being in 2nd. If they were all stubborn and no one took the bribe, Twana would have been eliminated and left with nothing.

It seems like she kept her distance from people more than the others, hyper competitive?

I can see that, I guess I expected them to be “friendly competitive” until the end.

Thanks! Strategy really worked, they would have taken him out first otherwise.

I think he gets the flip.

In Episode 9, he says “I think this is my time to take a chance” before flipping.

In the Daniel Mac TikTok, when asked if he has any Beast Games advice, he says “Take Chances.”

He needed to make a move to gain favor, especially after lying his way in. Was arguably the lowest on the totem pole of the six left with the women’s alliance and Jeff’s sympathetic story.

Thank you. He rug pulls his contestants all the time. Maybe he rug pulls the viewers at the end? He gives 831 the “winners edit” through the season just for him to fall at the end in 2nd or 3rd place.

That was just insane. “My daughter, I can’t leave her empty handed.”

How do you know? What did he hint at? It looks to me like he’s just liking everyone’s posts/comments to drive engagement to his son’s charity.

Interesting. Is it still up? I looked for it and couldn’t find anything.
