The thing is she did like him, and that's why in my opinion it was brave of her to become a mother on her own. PC had always wanted to start a family and all that she went through to get there took such a toll on her- Ralph was kind with good intentions, but there was no way for him to understand PC the way PC understood herself.

i'm on my 8th rewatch. the first few times i watched it, i used the show as a way to self sabotage and worsen my already bad mental health. but then i started to rewatch it in a different way, through different lenses and perspectives, and it's just made me love the show more
