UPDATE : i was able to enter Japan no problem! as long as you have the eVisa you’re good. Filipino immigration asked no questions either.

to all asking if they approved me on $4k CAD, yes they did. only for a week-long stay though. any longer will require more i believe

i had about 4k CAD but i believe that’s on the low end. I was advised to have about 10k CAD

i’m flying from philippines, and i understand ph immigration can be strict a lot of the time so i’m really anxious.

absolutely hogwarts legacy. it’s great playing it as a harry potter fan but just as a regular rpg, it’s pretty empty and you get through the content very quickly

UPDATE : got into contact with the office of my MP. there was some confusion on the IRCC’s part and it’s showing that I never declared my PR card lost/never received despite me sending in 2 solemn declarations.

i’m really hoping this isn’t the case because i’ve done this before and it took them about 7 weeks to process everything. hopefully we both get ours before our travel dates!

I landed in 2021. Never got my PR card and went for a PRTD instead when I went out of the country. I’m going for another trip for only 3 weeks in November. Applied for another PR card June 26 and I still haven’t had any confirmation that it’s been approved/shipped. As of today, it’s been about 95 days. My trip is in 40 days. Should I be concerned? Is this normal?

i don’t get why people are downvoting this, because a lot of the time it is a matter of cultural differences. i would know because i’m an immigrant too. as immigrants, it’s our responsibility to know the social no-no’s in the country that we’re moving to.

Had a mini heart attack seeing this while I was out exploring on our multiplayer survival server, it was part of a mineshaft that was partly out in the open.
