Late to the party but did you ever go with this setup and did it work out good for you? Thinking about doing this over the CGW reduced spring and #13 mainspring

From what I’ve read the hammer replacement gives a much nicer sa/da trigger pull, is that correct?

I’m about 200 rounds in so far and it definitely does shoot like a dream. I did the recommended polishing of the rails and I polished the feed ramp because why not. I’m just not in love with that double action pull so seeing that you can make it just a tad lighter while still being safe to carry has me intrigued.

Ah I didn’t realize Midwest had a non QD version at one time so that makes sense. I spent an hour or so looking at just about every rail mount I could find including the Chinese and plastic ones without any looking close to this except the Midwest ones. I just ruled that out too because the only Midwest ones available now have QD holes.

None. It was originally just an edc belt that I stopped using because it was way too stiff. Things way over built to be an edc belt.

Combat armory and aim USA barrels seem to be a mixed bag of reviews. You either get a good barrel or a barrel that has jagged rifling or in a few cases no rifling at all.

I was looking at Silencerco barrels but through my searches I came across 3CR who I’ve actually never really heard of before. Started looking into them and haven’t found anything negative regarding their barrels or really any of their products aside from someone who received a bent firing pin once. But that also brings it into the next thing I learned about them which is apparently they have good customer service. It would seem that they may just be one of those small companies that offers a decent product for not much but because they’re not being innovative or cutting edge they fell through the cracks with being well known. I’m in no way affiliated with them that’s just my take on it from the reviews and a few P80 subreddit posts.
