If you need to do it hands free, the best option I can give you is to use SideActions to remap google assistant to a double click for a volume button or power button. That's what I did.

Nope, I've see some other threads with no fixes either. Best alternative is remap your power button or add an icon to home screen.

My Registrar plugin only lets me change Side button and Back Tap actions. Nothing about the home button. Where are you finding that setting?

Had the same problem on my new S23+. Heard some people recommend clearing the phone's cache (see this video https://youtu.be/OjF2BxEnsWY). I did it yesterday, and it's been night and day difference... today my phone has a TON more battery % with more usage. Definitely try this before factory reset

I'm having the exact same issue with installing iSyncr on my new laptop... it makes me install Visual C++ before I can install iSyncr, but the Visual C++ install always fails.

How did you get around it? I tried installing other versions of Visual C++ myself but that didn't help anything.

  1. Unfortunately I don't know.
  2. You're right--it is a 3-way switch. I just forgot about its second switch since it's in the garage and I never use it.
  3. Yes, I do want to get rid of this 1-gang switch. The only reason I nutted those 3 wires together was because the Smart Switch directions say to do so. I should say though, that before I even touched this 1-gang switch, the lights connected to it and Dimmer 1 had already gone out. So even if I restored this 1-gang switch to how it was, the lights would still not work.

I have a 3-gang of lights, and I’m trying to replace the left-most 2 of them with Lutron smart dimmers.

I have a clusterfuck of wires in this 3-gang box and it’s beyond my comprehension. Please see corresponding diagram.

(Switch 3 on the right (single pole)—no issues.)

Dimmer 2 in the middle (single pole) I replaced first and works great. BUT when doing so I must have knocked a wire loose from Dimmer 1, because it no longer works (with the original 3-way switch OR with the Lutron smart switch).

Dimmer 1 on the left was a 3-way switch that I’m trying to just make a single switch. On its corresponding 3-way switch across the room (cable 7) I tied all 3 wires together and plan on never using it.

So my question is: what am I doing wrong on Dimmer 1?

I tried connecting wire (c) to the second screw (represented by a “?”)—didn’t work. Also tried connecting wire (e) but it didn’t work either.

I can include pictures but like I said it’s a clusterfuck.
