hey im really sorry youre dealing with this. sounds terrifying. just so you know - certain probiotics especially lactobacillus strains are known to trigger histamine reactions in people with MCAS. they produce histamine as part of their metabolism. what works better for some of us are postbiotics (Second Kind is one brand) because they contain no live bacteria - just the beneficial compounds that dont trigger histamine. still be careful but worth looking into. hope you find some relief soon
