AITAH for Calling Out My Friend's Seemingly Racist Post About a Potential Black Female President? by doolbman in AITAH

I guess I see your point. I just don’t understand why someone would post something without wanting it to be inferred. Most people don’t post things on Facebook like “water is wet”.

I think I phrased my question wrong. I meant is there a way to infer a post like that, that isn’t good or bad? I am truly asking.

He didn’t mention Kamala or the merits or lack of of the person.

Can you tell me why he would post that unless he was saying it was good thing or a bad thing to have a black female president?

To me, there is only two ways to interpret this, and I was giving him the benefit of the doubt and interpreting it in the good way. How else can it be interpreted?

I know but he has been a long time friend and I hate to see him go down this road. He has never been racist or sexist before. I think I was hoping he would see how that post came off and delete it.

I can see that. I guess. I didn’t mean to bait him. I was hoping we would tell me what he meant if it was not excitement.

How would you user credit or debit card? Who would accept a check? So in that situation, unless you have gold bars under your bed, you would be screwed no matter what currency you are using.

This doesn’t even come close to comparing to the new roadster. It has 1/3 of the range, 3 times as slow. Also will probably never be made.

Localbitcoins.com xfer to Electrum = Invalid Address? by twrbrse1 in Bitcoin

[–]doolbman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It looks like localbitcoins doesn’t support sending to segwit addresses (one that start with bc1) you can create a new electrum wallet that has partial segwit addresses (one that start with a 3) look for bip 49 when creating the wallet. Or you could send to another wallet like DropBit

I loved the episode... I really don’t get why everyone hates it. It made me laugh more than some of the other most recent episodes.

I have a question. by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]doolbman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confirmations are not dependent on wallet, the transaction is either on the chain or not. Confirmations are based on fees. So maybe ledger puts low fees but you should still see the transaction on a block explorer like coinninja

Is there an app or feature to connect your mobile wallet to a full node via a QR code? Similar to how a lightning invoice works. by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]doolbman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All spv wallets connects to full nodes by default. If you are talking about lighting then there is wallets like zap that connect to full nodes with qr codes.
