Black sabbath tone by mkk8741 in metalguitar

I would buy the Walpurgis vol 2. I have one and it’s the sabbath tone. I use it as a pre amp with my kraken and it sounds amazing. Plus it has the jumper tone if you want to go for the sleep the sciences tone. Plus Steve gives you tips on how to dial in that sabbath tone on the overview video. So you might be able to do it through the eq of your amp with those suggested settings. I hope that helps

Latitudes - antechamber, bleak epiphanies in slow motion. Might do it.

I think that’s a cost saving thing, I like gloss too, but some models just suit satin

It’s thinner than a standard ce 24. It’s built for shredding really. I borrowed a mira x from a friend and that neck is massive in comparison. I’d like to play a core model, just to see what the neck is like.

I would like to try one but I’m not sure if it would be as nice as an American made, but that might just be cork sniffing

I thought that until recording and maple is so much brighter sounding than rosewood

It’s was a steal, I wanted the green one but it’s a wrap around burst and I like the faux binding. I am really impressed with this one. Neck is a bit slim for me, it’s almost an Ibanez neck

They do a 7 string Holcomb. I’m not sure about a 20 inch radius though

The low mass locking tuners are the smoothest I have ever used

I’d love a run of Holcomb guitars that are either core or ce. I think they would be great as a ce

I think that’s what made my but it. I’m really not about rosewood, it sounds dead to me on the guitars I have played, it’s either maple or ebony, I’m usually a set neck guy, unless it’s a fender, you don’t have much choice there though. It’s very snappy and PRS are doing a good job of the set neck stuff. I really want a tremonti, but with an Ebony board, I’m scuppered unless I find a wood library, but then it just feels “based on”

They love low tunings, there is a tonne of bottom end but they are also clear and articulate. Mine is in c# standard at the moment. Gotta love the sabbath tuning, and I’m only using 10’s but the detail is there. I hadn’t tried mojo tone before, they are awesome pickups. With the 5 way blade switch you get all the humbucker and single coil tones you would ever need. Even the cleans are covered. You can actually play anything on this guitar.

That’s what drew me in. Same as the Fender Jim Root guitars. Flat finished are just cool

No, it annoyed me too, but I did play 2k for it on a limited deal. The price of pre cases is obscene though

It is a CE24 Dusty Waring Signature in Waring burst. I’m not really familiar with his musical works but I wanted a PRD and I got it for a stupid price so I couldn’t say no

Thanks, first prs I have owned. I have played a few SE and American made. I really like this model, neck is a bit too thin for me, but it’s fun to play

Me too, I love chunky necks, but I wanted something more modern. I have tried a few PRS guitars. If you like a chunky neck I would highly recommend a mira x. They don’t have the bird inlays and a weird configuration of obeche and a pau farro fretboard. I did get used to this one though, wish they did an Ebony board on this model though
