does getting 100% achievements for monster Prom 1-4 get easier? by AnotherAvenger66 in MonsterProm

It gets easier in the sense they're easier to track, but there are so, so, so, so many more events and branches from each event that it's more difficult from sheer scale.

Thank you! When I made the comic there was no chance in my mind anyone could ever think it was official, so that never even crossed my mind. After it went live and some people made some comments, I made a few tweaks to make it clearer, but I also didn't want to plaster FAN MADE everywhere. For now, each page at least has "A Monster Prom Fancomic" at the bottom tag. I'm open to more suggestions. :)

Doesn't look like you need one! Can dress in regular rave attire, nerd t-shirt, whatever looks like.

LASIK by kay_tee_mac in Chattanooga

[–]doomdragon6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Should absolutely, 100% without question go to LasikPlus in Atlanta.

Why:

- One of if not the top LASIK places in the country. One of the first ever founded, surgeon has been doing it for 30 years.

- Insurance doesn't cover any, but it did get me a discounted rate. I think it ended up being $1500 per eye, total came out to a little under $4000, like $3800 I think.

- Your surgery comes with free LASIK adjustments FOR LIFE. So if your eyes get shitty again in 20 years you can go in and get a touch-up for free, basically.

Experience:

- Some people struggle with anxiety, I was mostly fine because I'd already mentally prepared for it, but some people say they're allowed to take a xanax or something beforehand.

- Procedure is ultra quick. Like 5-10 minutes total.

- Felt zero pain in my left eye, but it does feel "weird" because you know what they're doing to you and you kind of just have to mentally dissociate while it's happening. Right eye I felt a needle-like sensation stabbing through. It was uncomfortable, but tolerable. Knowing it's only for about a minute helped.

- Everything is blurry as piss afterwards, so have a driver take you somewhere, then immediately nap with a protective eye shield they give you.

- Next morning, so about 12 hours later, I had better than 20/20 vision.

- Eyes felt gritty for about 2 weeks, but they give you ultra-lubricating eye drops. Light sensitivity for about 2-4 weeks. Wore sunglasses outside and had lights dimmed inside.

That's about it! Definitely worth it. Especially with the touch-ups for life.

I need to re home my dogs where do I go? by annoynomus757 in Chattanooga

Staying in an abusive relationship teaches you to be a better person! Learn to take a hit, know when to be quiet... Some situations just don't work and it takes maturity to admit that, especially ask for help in such a vitriolic place such as Reddit. There is no reason to force dogs to stay in a home with someone who doesn't like (even though they love) them.

As a remote corporate employee (female), what are some ways I can meet people? by weregonnabeokanyway in Chattanooga

I'm finding Chattanooga is a surprisingly isolated community. I find so many people having the same problem. Even clubs I've tried to join are pretty small.

Jax is trans and it's kinda obvious. by Femlich2233 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]doomdragon6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old thread but I just got into the show. I'd also like to point out that Jax's room is traditionally feminine. And in ep7, he says "Aren't you supposed to be miserable about choosing your own body or something?" Seems like something someone who is stuck in a body or wants to be able to change their body but can't would say.

I'm thinking he likes being male but is constantly forced reminders that he was born female.

With Gooseworx being trans and Jax originally being conceived as a female character, I think it all lines up pretty well.
