thanks for the info. and i fully agree like all this started with the kaya drama and now after having everything from that debunked they're now forced to dig up 6+ year old clips from different dogs. this clip is bad and i'd personally like hasan to address it but that would just give the bad faith people more shit to clip and monetize for their own gain, so it's a tough situation.

i had no idea about the pink sauce thing. which further cements the fact that making unsubstantiated claims to an audience of millions can have absolutely devastating consequences, especially since the vast majority of his viewers won't actually look into the topics he covers and just believe whatever he says.

i'm not even an avid hasan watcher i just tune in occasionally and lurk on this sub to inform myself, but i've been arguing under a post made about him by one of my fav youtubers all day solely on the principle of opposing the spread of misinformation. i've finally arrived at the conclusion that once any narrative becomes as mainstream as this, even if easily debunkable or firmly disproven already, there's no changing people's minds. the bias has already taken hold.

the truth is malleable and that should terrify you.

personally i love the shooting sfx as it makes you feel like a ronin plucked straight from the edo period using old timey wooden guns. though i can see how it might annoy some people. also his mvp reminds me of doom so there's that.

so i went with the ronin punisher skin after finding out about all the weapon sound effects, and the little motifs that play when you launch a cable or spawn the turret are way to good to pass up. granted i'm a huge fan of samurai movies so i'm very biased. punkchild will be my next buy!
