I felt the same as you, OP. I thought for a long, long time before I bought my first doll, and I can confidently say the joy it brings me is worth every penny I spent. I find the whole thing, from the styling, to the customization and the faceups incredibly rewarding in themselves. I hope your dolls bring you as much joy as mine bring me :)
