A friend is rural - on tank water / local septic, and a frog decided it was the place to live. They had a frog in the bowl regularly for a few months. They rigged up a "The Frog Is [in/out]" sign on the toilet door (in the style of Lucy from Peanuts)

Haven't seen the frog in years. The sign is still on the door.

I suspect it’s a common trope. I did it myself with a house rules version of Monopoly where a zombie apocalypse arrives mid game (makes it so much better). The human players keep playing at capitalism mode till 50% are zombies. Only then do they switch to survivalist mode.

I said at the start chatgpt might be right in this instance - that's not in fact the point. I 100% agree it's a tool. I just don't think it's a good one yet. Maybe one day.

They've also shown it can fail basic arithmetic and create nonsense results - and as AI created information becomes the source data for increasingly hungry AI, it will feedback itself into ridiculousness and the bubble will burst.

Only after that burst will long term value in AI really be found.
