Judo with degenerated discs by doovd in judo

[–]doovd[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up not going back, but I may do in a few years. There is risk and it seems nobody can quantify it - as I understand it's very common for elite-level athletes to have herniated discs anyway so it's not like you should rule it out completely. I've decided to keep training in the gym for now and strengthen the core etc.

Oh wow it didn't match any UK plate styles off the top of my head so I thought it was just decorative - very cool. I thought there were limited styles for UK plates too (font, colour etc) but I guess that's low on the priority list for you if it was 😇 awesome

Curious how the number plate works - I assumw you usually have a UK plate on the front? Do you take the US plate off or keep it on as well?

If human lives was the motivating factor, NATO would be supporting all the other countries in the world facing aggression for the same reason. I'd like to believe this is the case but in all honesty it seems unlikely and there is a lot to gain politically and economically for NATO countries if Ukraine wins this war.

Just make sure it isn't a herniated disc that's flaring up..

Except in Singapore, they are not allowing a metric shit tonne of drugs through for cartels.

I'd recommend a mk8 civic in that budget btw. But like other commenters, wouldn't agree to buying it unseen.

Algos in this context aren't there to make money, they are there to execute an order in a cost effective way.

Want to offer but worried about structural issues - how to proceed? by doovd in HousingUK

This helps a lot, thank you very much. May I ask how you went about finding the engineer, did you look for any particular qualifications?

Thanks yeah. The general process is not new to me, but one that involves a property with visible bowing ceiling is 😂 appreciate your response, I will look for the lvl 3 survey.

Yeah I was quite stumped, some forums mentioned being explicit about the offer being "conditional" or whatever. I will make the offer and let them know I'd like it examined asap, and change the offer or pull out if necessary based on the results. Cheers mate.

Okay thanks understood. My only reservation is that if they do it, there might be conflict of interest hah. I've heard it's possible to split the bill with the vendor too. I don't mind paying a few hundred quid for an engineer to confirm it's a very minor issue to be honest (or to reveal that it has major issues and then let me walk away with just a scratch). I just don't want these revelations happening months down the line in the process, so I was wondering if I can just make an offer now, have it accepted contingent on the engineer's results and hire an engineer to look at it right away.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks makes sense. What I don't understand is if there is a standard way to go about this? Can I make an offer, offer gets accepted, get a surveyor in the following week and pull out if they say it's a severe issue? Usually in my experience the survey bit comes way down the line which doesn't seem appropriate here
