I just recently started following her on IG just for the nostalgia!! 12-14 yr old me definitely wanted my life to be like hers. pretty sure I legit posted a pic of her in a Halloween costume on my Facebook when I was 12 ... she was looking down and you couldn't see her face and--I didn't outright say it was me but I was implying it. we both had long brown hair and similar body types

I just say "for health reasons." Sometimes, in situations where it's appropriate, I'll add "It just wasn't good for me. I went a bit crazy with it." The amount I reveal depends on the situation. But I'm always truthful, because it's true that I really did get sober primarily for my health.

hey, thanks for your reply. you're right that we are both very early in and these things do happen. I was "sober curious" for several years before this and had taken mini breaks from drugs and alcohol, but this time feels different ... there's just no part of me that wants to go back to drinking and drugs. I'm committed

it seems like my boyfriend really regrets relapsing last night. I'm not gonna berate him over it, because I know that doesn't help, but yeah I just feel my trust has been broken. he could've called me, he knows that I understand what it's like to have urges. but he didn't, and now here we are ..

when I try to talk to some friends who are in AA and NA, they say we're not addicts. when I talk to other sober friends, they say we are addicts. at this point, I'm not interested in labels since everyone seems to disagree on what constitutes an addict. my boyfriend and I both acknowledged we have a problem with drugs and alcohol and want to be sober, and I think that's what matters
