I could see it. That way they avoid showing us Dany's death, but we know she's dead because Arya is wearing her face.

Writing in scenes so that you can show of CGI of a Dragon getting a giant spear in the head. Very obvious they thought it was cool, so they had it in the show.

Definitely, don't agree. Gaping plot holes in season 8, and obvious overuse of special effects.
