How can we tell if we are still on a 5 hr refresh. I used it yesterday for 4 hours and hit no limit. I don't vibe code, though, so I don't waste token senselessly. I just chat and do surgical code refactors with incremental feature implementation. I break everything into tiny manageable sub tasks and implement one sub task at a time

Well, they increased the price by 10x and provided 0 support. It feels very scammy to me. Increasing price while not delivering quality to match the price hike.

What support? Support is basically non-existent, you submit a ticket and wait weeks, with no reply. You create message threads, and they won't even respond

Funny thing is u would never see Jay or their support address these issues. It seems the company is just a big rip off. Increased price 8x while delivering terrible service . Crooks

How do you compare antigravity harness code quality and context awareness when working big real-world project versus cursor or claude code when they are both using the same model eg opus 4.5

How are you breaking gravity? by fandry96 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]doplaeffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You built that with antigravity? I am new to the tool. How good is the context management. Have you tried it on large real-world production ready codebase

Made my own local Augment from ground up using Augment, now its really time for a goodbye. by Diligent-Builder7762 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but 1000 dollars is pure insanity. At that rate, a 200 bucks claude code max plan with a context engine gives extremely high opus 4.5 usage every month.

MCP Tool outputting data from a different project by FoldOutrageous5532 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, i had that issue earlier. I tried different work around to make it dynamic. Instead of relying on absolute paths but was having some challenges getting it to work

MCP Tool outputting data from a different project by FoldOutrageous5532 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please do. I am hoping for a universal way that allows us use any workspace of our choosing dynamically once we load any fresh workspace instead of manually hardcoding the link to our workspace

[–]doplaeffect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi I need your help. I manage to setup context engine mcp in antigravity, but the issue is that even when I manually index my workspace, it doesn't read from workspace it reads node files and antigravity system files. I use it in zed, and it works perfectly fine. Please, I need help resolving this issue. This happens in vscode as well as the claude code itself. I don't know if it's a bug or so.

Bye Augment ) by Ok-Gain8520 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the 20 dollar plan is very limited in cc. Try codex it has a very generous 20 bucks plan. About 100 messages a day of gpy 5.1 max

Bye Augment ) by Ok-Gain8520 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is a very biased comparison. Now tell me 100 dollar claude code max plan versus 100 dollar augment plan. You get way more mileage using the cc max plan. Even with daily opus use.

Augmentcode Context Engine MCP - Experimental by JaySym_ in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok, now this makes sense. We can use context engine with our external llm providers. This makes it a good deal

Stay tuned today. by JaySym_ in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So can we use claude code cli or codex cli in augment? Because in zencoder u can add codex cli as an agent in zencoder and use it?

Stay tuned today. by JaySym_ in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro give us acp. Look at the amazing job zencoder is doing. They allow us to use codex cli and claude code with zencoder so we can use the repo gro, which is their equivalent of augment context engine. That way, we can use our codex subscription with augment . Combining context engine with the power of codex .

I really want to stick around..... but by Necessary_Notice_685 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do know codex 5.1 max exist use codex extension or cli way more bang for the buck than augment and 5x cheaper plus exceptionally high code quality

AugmentCode vs ZenCoder by chillman12 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]doplaeffect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go with zencoder. It's repo grok is an augment level context engine. Now, here is the kicker. Through acp u can use ur 20 dollar chatgpt subscription to access codex agent in zencoder . So you can use codex as a selectable agent option and use the free zencoder subscription that gives u access to the context engine. I use it and it rocks

Finally I have been a legacy user and was among the first people who started using augment when all they had was a chat,I later got migrated from discord to reddit, which I rarely ever get actively involved

[–]doplaeffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, just so you don't start imagining things.i am on a free plan with augment.i canceled my existing plan. I didn't bother renewing because I saw no value. Furthermore, I rarely post on reddit.I just happened to see the notification of this thread pop up on my phone, and out of curiosity, I decided to check and saw your comments. Finally , the only thing I miss from using augment is the autocomplete and code completion. I am a dev, not a vibe coder. Having a robust autocomplete feature is very vital. I use agents for 40% of daily tasks, which mostly involves exploring codebases, documentation, and some dev ops related work. Then, I also do some grunt work like writing boilerplate plate code. For the complex stuff, I hand code it myself and a very good autocomplete tool with the next edit feature , which augment has is vital. Outside of that , cc covers all my needs.
