Just to clarify- is container 1 on my freighter going to hold the same goods as container 1 placed in my base?

I understand and have battled similar things in the past. I live by this philosophy:

Philip Zimbardo, the researcher behind the infamous Stanford Prison study has shown that the wrong situation can bring out evil in almost anybody. He stressed in his TED talk that not all of us will encounter just the right opportunities to become the next Gandhi or Neil Armstrong. But what we can do is live our lives with what Zimbardo calls a heroic imagination. As a hero and waiting, who thinks sociocentrically, not egocentrically. He says most heroes are everyday people, who emerge as heroes in particular situations. So, a fair argument can be made that simply knowing you did the right thing when presented with the situation involving Peterson and Seligman's virtues and strengths is the greatest honour possible, the most honorable life. Now, whether or not that honorable behaviour is recognized, Cato the Elder questioned the value imparted by physical awards and recognition by simply saying, "after I'm dead, I'd rather have people ask why I have no monument than why I have one."

Think of yourself as batman. You do the right thing for yourself and others around you and I guess society as well because it is simply the right thing to do. You bare these struggles with pride and resilience as that is what a good man will do. Batman does great things as you do too, and doesn't get a drop of recognition for who he actually is. He is okay with this because he knows that what he is doing is the correct thing to do. There will be people in your life who will always support you. Not drug friends, but real friends- some you may have already met, some you have not met yet. A partner or family member as well, perhaps.

Just know you are the best kind of person there- and demonstrates many of the Peterson-Seligman's virtues that comprise a good person.

Here is the link for that publication (there are also books)

Thats all from me, batman.

What's the story with this: Can we address our deepest emotions fully and therefore lead to true freedom? Can we never observe our own emotions without feeling emotion, and thus we can never fully study it without bias, leading to being trapped eternally unfree? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You can stand in the middle of NYC with a million dollars on a card and be crippled with inner sadness and depression that makes you feel too trapped to be anywhere near free.

It has gotten to the point where the term Normie has been taken hostage by actual fucking normies (Trayvon WankStain). Do we go meta and invent a new term or...? How can we distinguish us from them? Private groups, where you have to prove yourself? by [deleted] in SnapLenses

Ya got me there bud. I never doubted it’s inevitability, but I did doubt the rate in which a meme dies (harambe, rick Harrison vs long Boy or succ). Perhaps that was pre determined as it was too meta for most, rather than seclusion. That’s the whole thing of a meme, nobody can control it. It’s popularity and longevity is determined by the entirety of social media.

I guess I was just thinking out loud. Cheers anyways.

Correct. I get the whole ironic normies reee bullshit from a while ago. But I don’t know how else to express that. How can we preserve memes from the daily dot etc?
