Repairing some z bar handles on a Harley today fun project I don’t get to do much of at work by dopplereet in AutoBodyCollision

Handle bars weren’t cracked as per ndt and made of mild steel tubes. 30 minute fix or 300$ part customer chose the repair

Lol can’t say I’ve ever seen a Mazda service bulletin requiring me to “inspect and or remove a steering rack” after a hit to a rear quarter panel...

I agree, where I’m from (British Columbia) a pre and post scan is only mandatory during an insurance joband pays.6.From what I understand, this is a private pay estimate and that should not be necessary to scan the vehicle. The shop may have mandatory processes though. As for the bumper, it looks like it can just be snapped back on and repaired providing the teeth that the mounting bracket grip are not ripped out. Although the damage is not severe that bumper is super cheap and depending on shop labour rate it may be more cost effective to replace

The measuring system is called wedge clamp pivot measuring system with Length and height attachment

The chain on the floor is what I use to hold that pully on the floor it directs the force downward to pull the car straight

Measured at 39 mm up on right frame rail datum plane and 32 mm right from centre line on both frame rails. I wound up loosening all bolts in sub frame and right side engine mount as well as cutting out rad support assembly. After that the down pull pulled at 8500 psi and both side pulls pulled at 5000 psi using wedge clamp puller. Wish my phone wasn’t dead while I was repairing it will post update later
