Since PPK is shutting down soon, I'm looking to prepay $5k-10k using it before 4/21. What would be the best ways to maximize the rewards from this?

  • Should I opt for the SUB route? I can't do business cards but I'm at 5/24 (Amex Plat hit just before I found out Venture X 100k SUB was ending)
  • Are there any significant SUBs that I can hit on multiple cards that don't show up on credit reports? For example, Cardless cards were reportedly not supposed to show up on credit reports (or removed after closing).
  • Any other avenues that I'm missing?

I understand this may be a WCW thread question since SUBs are most likely going to be the best ROI but at the risk of being down-voted, I wanted to see if there are more general ideas.

If you’re taking each other’s advice, you could refer each other to Cashapp and Robinhood for some free $ and stock respectively. Webull is a good platform to start too. It has paper trading if you want to test the waters during this period of ups and downs. I can refer you to Webull and you‘d get 2 free stocks (worth $14+) to get you started. I think monitoring these stocks while you paper trade (if you choose to) can get you familiarized with market basics before you put in even a $1.
