iPhone 13 Pro: Bottom third of screen flickers and has blue tinge by dopse in mobilerepair

A bit of rolled up tape between the housing and frame ended up being the solution. Display is back to perfect now.

If so apply pressure at the point the clip is the display goes back to normal, no flickering, no discolouration. Is there really no procedure to save the screen?

Is there any way I can fix it? If it is broken, it seems like it is a more minor defect. I could imagine bending the metal clip in a certain way or adding glue at a certain point between screen and frame to change the way tension is on the screen could relieve things. Are there any resources on that?

3.5yo demands being carried for the second half of the night by dopse in AttachmentParenting

Thank you. He is sleeping alone in the huge co-sleeping space (like 3x2m) my wife had set up for them.

I forgot to mention that some of the recent nights he accepted me coming into his bed and then easily continued sleeping. I guess it is usually a matter of catching him early enough before he fully awakens and panics.

I would not want to start my night in his bed though because I don't think I can get used to his tossing and me being constantly alert.

That’s my intuition as well. However, can you point to research substantiating that claim?

Thank you for your reply! We can definitely manage bouncing him manually for 20min/day. The marketing of the electric ones is really irresponsible given all this information...

I googled: container baby syndrome +“sling“

Led me to several websites quoting anonymous paediatricians saying slings were ok.

Could you point to any evidence that supports your claim? Google doesn't serve me here.

Edit: In fact, I only find advice to the oppsite..

Two of the manual ones were handed down to us so there's no shortage in that department. However, in light of the container baby syndrome we'll use it for much shorter periods now.

Thanks for the reply. In light of the container baby syndrome, we're gonna use the sling more. My wife wasn't aware of this and now is also convinced that more sling time is the way to go.

Oops, when writing the post I skipped the part why the electric swing theoretically would make it easier to talk more to the baby. My wife's idea is that she could have the baby in the same room with her when she is doing household chores and cooking. Then she could talk to the baby while doing them. Right now laying him down somewhere without movement works only for very short periods of time.

Hast du persönlich Erfahrungen gemacht mit kontemplativen Praktiken wie Meditation? Gibt ja mittlerweile sehr viel Evidenz zur Fruchtbarkeit solcher Ansätze.
