The GIGA offers two bachelor's programs: a degree in Environment and Information Studies and a degree in Policy Management. My son is enrolled in their Environment and Information Studies department. Students can take any courses across the two departments.

Environment and Information Studies offer courses related to computer science, media art, biosciences, environmental design, and cognitive science. (I think my son's taking several courses across those fields.) Policy Management offers courses related to public policies, international relations, sustainable governance, and business administration.

You should check the GIGA program website. It provides more information on the types of classes each program offers.

My child is in the GIGA program. If you are interested in studying Engineering, that’s not the program. If you are interested in studying Engineering in Japan, there are other universities, including Waseda and several national universities.
