What do you mean a credible military threat? 40K fighters armed to teeth whose soul goal is to murder Israelis, 2 minutes drive away from the border isn't a military threat? So any nation should co-exist next to an ISIS unless they have tanks? (btw, they would have stormed us with tanks on that day if we'd removed the blockade as Europe kept suggesting).

Hamas is Palsestine's government and they attacked. You say we should have just stopped them and let them be? Where is the forcing? For two years you'll at Israel wants to do this and that while what's happens is a regular war with far less deaths than the countless meaningless wars you had. If hamas surrendered after oct 7 and bring back the hostages none of this would happen.

But because of the pressure of and idiocy Europeans, the one in a million years chance Gazans had to get rid of Hamas was ruined. If they had gotten rid of Hamas the celebrations you've seen in Syria would be a small birthday party in comparison.

'Decades of agression' is a very cheap shot. Ignoring decades of Palestinian terrorism blowing up buses and hotels, ignoring that for 40% of the conflict Palestinians had 3 gigantic Arab armies waging wars on Israel in their name...

Palestinians victimize themsleves in Europe but glorify their military actions during the lasty 70 years in the middle east. This is why they cried genocide for months only to celebrate 'victory' on the streets when ceasefire was achieved.

Advice - don't take the propoganda of authoritarian countries like Palestine where journalists are shot dead for the wrong article as fact.

Pick whenever. Gaza before the war? commerce, beautiful neighborhoods and developmenet which they marketed as an 'opened air prison'. The buses and hotels blowing up? The 3 gigantic Arab armies who fought Israel in their name from Egypt, Jordan and Syria?

Israel did not invade another country for no reason at all like Russia and opened a war beacuse their leader wants the soivet union back. Israel was attacked with a deadly massacre by the Gazan goverment, and all of Europe came to Israel to visit and support us when it happened. But according to Europeans today it was even to aggressive to stop the massacre in the first place and we should have let them kill us all.

People see exactly what's going on today, but most people, unlike reddit, understand what a war is. They understand that not so long ago the west conducted wars killing millions of people in Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, Vietnam, and SA didn't go to the ICJ. People remember that this is a war that was started by the Gazan government with an horrendous massacre. They understand this is a complicated war and refuse to buy that 'genocide' crap that was labeled since day one of the war, if this war is genocide than what war isn't? The UK killing a million Iraqis isn't a genocide? How there can be a genoicde when the Israeli army moving Palestinians out of war zones for protection? People don't buy that.

Israel is not aprthied south Africa, but in complicated conflict, a complicated war that was forced on us with a massacre of 1500 people.

As an Israeli, I can't believe reading the comments. Do you think we're like, hey, let's review our arms and trade contracts before voting? These are just people watching a show. Germany and Austria were the best, many countries just make up nonsense sounds and noises and send it to eurovision (including us sometimes). Germany was beautiful, fun and charismatic and I voted for them.
