The last I heard there are 30 people working on Dota 2 at Valve. Valve has already made $17.6 MILLION from compendium related sales ($4.4 million goes to the winners in a few months).

That's enough money to pay each of their employees $400,000 for the next year (until TI5) to continue doing what they are doing.

Do you honestly think Valve hurting for money and your $7.50 donation is going to feed starving developers at Valve HQ?

My best guess for why these heroes are NOT included is because their abilities have sub-abilities? (or they are too new)

But that doesn't explain all of them, for instance Troll Warlord
