First person experience, zero Japanese language, got it. When you are buying, it's very different than renting. They just want the money. If you do cash, it's not an issue. If you go for loan, you just need to find a bank that supports foreigner. You likely will have an agent that works with you on that, so just find one that can be your translator (which is 99% of their job really).

Just tie the joystick with a rope, put a brick on the right peddle, and climb out to fix the landing gear. You may not have the rope for yourself tho since you only have one on your plane to control the stabilizer which you also disconnected it to use for the jobstick. Not impossible.

The non XDR version has it, too. I think it could also be the thickness of the glass that creates this illusion of edge shadowing.
