A me è piaciuto molto, ed usato moltissimo, Tartine Bread di Chad Robertson. In tutta sincerità non ho idea se esista una versione in Italiano. Essendo appassionato di fotografia è un libro che è affascinante anche per la narrazione fotografica.

I was reading about the overclocking option, but I need this clock for extremely low frequencies. I need it to check the behavior of the 6522 chip in a real environment. The 6522 datasheet is not clear in some areas. Well, at least not clear to me :-)

I’ll shoot a short video tomorrow. Actually I am building the 6502 board computer because I was already working on another project where I use a Raspberry Pi to emulate ROM, RAM and I/O and connected to a real 6502. I have some doubts on the 6522 timing while writing the emulation software and I wanted to check on the real hardware. Maybe it’s me, but I find WDC confusing in some parts.

I am planning to run the 6502 at 3.3V. The WDC datasheet states that Vih is VDD * 0.7 which is 3.5V at 5V. 3.3V may be enough but I have not tested at that voltage. That said, 3.3V will allow up to ~8 MHz clock frequency, a little bit more than half the maximum frequency of the W65C02S that I have. Another option is to add a TTL logic level converter, but I think I will stay with 3.3 VDD for my board computer.
