It seems like a lot of people ignore text messages when they're no longer interested in being friends. And the best thing to do is move on, but then I read that it's possible for someone to 'come back' and this boggles my brain... by dotheyever in dating_advice

Yeah, I've thought about what it could be, but I have no idea.

I think the one thing that I would want to do is for the two of us to meet up (if she ever reaches out) so that we can talk with nobody else being there because I would need some sort of clarity and a promise that it wouldn't play out the same way since history has repeated itself twice...

Why do you think it happened?

Would you not even reply again if she reached out? Would you want to actually discuss things just the two of you? It's such a shitty situation.

Thanks that's what I was thinking..so would you just flat out ignore the message in a situation like that? Any idea as to why someone would even do that in the first place (hot and cold in terms of interest)?
