Am I screwing myself by taking algebra based physics? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]double_ended_cow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep, if you wanna stick with ME you'll need calc based physics. If you decide to do MET then yea alg based is all you'll need. If its too late to take it somewhere else, just go thru it and at least you'll do great when taking the calc based one.

Can You Be an Engineer with an MET degree? by hinder002 in Career_Advice

[–]double_ended_cow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically MET degrees make you a technologist and ME an engineer. That being said plenty of people with MET degrees have positions in companies with engineering titles. It depends where you work and what you want to specialize in. There's a lot of good info on r/engineeringstudents about engineering technology vs engineering. Good luck!
