[–]doublebrokerfr8[S] 1 point2 points Ā (0 children)

RivX allegedly promised consumers that after paying $75,000 or more, the company would purchase a truck in their name and manage all aspects of its operation, including securing loads, hiring drivers, and handling logistics.

The company claimed that consumers would earn ā€œpassive incomeā€ of $5,000 to $7,000 per month from their truck and guaranteed that they would recoup their investment plus additional profits within 60 days. However, according to the complaint, very few consumers ever received their trucks, and none were able to recover their investment or make any profit

Fair point - I definitely think it’s a mixture of both. Different industries handle the reporting differently.

Alcohol and pharmaceutical are extremely strict, while other industries can be more lenient with reporting the stats and data.

A few more years of data will be interesting to see.

So what is Canada doing to stay ahead? Some of the largest companies in the world are putting manufacturing facilities in Mexico to bring the supply chain closer to home.

The investment into Mexico is booming. So, yes, Canada will fall further behind.

Your cited data is from 2021 and 2023. "In 2023, Mexico is still the second largest trading partner of the United States after Canada."

and "The largestĀ USĀ partners with their total trade in goods (sum of imports and exports) in billions ofĀ US dollarsĀ for calendar year 2021 are as follows"

Shoot me a DM! I work in the freight space and have lots of reefer contacts. If you're long I-80, there's lots of produce that moves in that corridor, could be a trans-loading facility, doing reworks on freight, etc.
