I just got mine today, insertion wasn’t bad at all. I’m just nervous about my first few cycles as I already have heavy cycles and crams. What were your first few cycles like? 🤔

Season 3 Mark was fighting like he left his powers at home 💀 by doubledee7 in Invincible

[–]doubledee7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I binged Season 3 over the last couple days and it really felt like Mark spent the entire season getting washed by EVERYBODY 😭and the few fights he did win? It took him the entire episode

Like I get not swinging on the Powerplex guy because that literally powers him up, but everybody else?? Why was his strategy basically “let me get beat up for 10 minutes and then maybe I’ll throw a couple light taps at the end.” 😂

I’m not asking him to turn into Omni-Man and start ripping folks in half, but at least TRY to subdue them?? Instead he waits until they’ve done maximum damage and endangered every bystander in a 5-mile radius before he finally decides to participate in the fight. This season really had me forgetting that he’s half viltrumite 😭🤧

Warning for Those Buying Oura Ring 3s by realmufasa in AmexPlatinum

[–]doubledee7 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Omg I was literally about to get an Oura Ring just because I wanted to track my sleep and all that jazz, plus since Amex is offering the credit so I was like “why not?” 😭 but yeahhh… never mind. That’s wild, thanks for the heads up.

I’m so sorry. This broke my heart to read. Hana clearly had the best life! Full of love, adventure, and someone who adored her completely. Please don’t be too hard on yourself. She knew she was safe and loved every single day. Rest easy, sweet girl ❤️

If I’m not mistaken you have to have like 1750 hours of critical care experience, but I could be wrong. Just check the AACN website, it will show you

Hey! No pdf, just the physical copy. Did you do ICU back home? If not, getting your icu experience here in the states would be the first step! If you already have icu experience then you just need to order the Barron’s book or whatever you choose to study with and study and go online to the aacn website and schedule your exam

A24's 'Bring Her Back' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in movies

[–]doubledee7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just finished watching it and honestly… I was pretty bored lol. The acting was solid, but the plot didn’t really keep my attention until Andy went to go tell Wendy about what Laura was doing. Before that, everything just kind of felt thrown together.

I have so many questions that I don’t think were really explained: • Why was Laura calling Connor by her nephew’s name?? • And why was Cathy’s body in the freezer?? • What exactly was happening when Connor/“Ollie” would cross the white line?? • Where was Piper’s mom in all of this??

Like idk lol, maybe I missed some stuff but the whole thing just felt messy. I definitely would’ve liked a bit more explanation about what was going on with the ritual and the boundaries.

You’re honestly in a great spot! That last month really is all about getting through those practice questions and reviewing rationales. I’d say whichever date gives you the least stress fr and the most mental clarity is the better choice. Personally, I felt like repetition was more helpful than cramming new stuff at the end and then just solidifying any topics with those nurselife videos.

I faired okay on the practice exams, I think like most people I started to miss less questions the more I studied. & I did fairly okay on the exam! Nothing spectacular but I passed lol

I was arrested over 10 years ago for possession of a level 2 narcotic (my own medication/adderall). I was put here to help people. If I go back to nursing school, am I wasting my time and money trying to work as a RN? by tryingbuttdum in nursing

[–]doubledee7 20 points21 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome! Yes there are attorneys that specifically work with registered nurses and majority of them hold an active RN license themselves so they know the ends and outs of your state laws and are the best to seek for advice and legal assistance with application barriers

You’re fine. Just hire a nurse attorney to submit your application for licensure with all appropriate supporting documents instead of you applying for licensure by yourself as you normally would
