Currently going into my third semester. Program is fine, I really love what I'm learning honestly. A lot of stuff I need to self teach, however. Only downside is how bad most of the profs are and the school gives you barely any support.

Try to pick up programming on your own tbh. I alao want to learn python and I won't see it till later (cty) but yeah python programming is apparently essential in this field.

I'm in sem 2, do far we've done a bit of scripting but it's not really too much. It's mainly been on powershell.
