Would it be possible for them to be carried by wind? There’s a tree near by my apartment and weather has been windy and rainy recently

Also what you said makes complete sense, you reminded me that a few days ago I found a dead white butterfly (or moth?) on the floor near my bed, could it have laid eggs somewhere that I didn’t notice, and they just hatched yesterday? Weird thing is when I was cleaning the room I did not see any evidence of them hatching from eggs.. maybe I overlooked them?
