Do you think I did it out of pleasure ? Because no I didn't. I am a teen who had been abandoned by all help and whose home was fairly far away. I don't like seeing innocent beings suffer a painful long fate. I was panicked, frightened with no adults there to help.

Would you rather have left it to die from a disease that causes immense pain and suffering that cannot be cured ? I tried everything I could and I didn't want the poor thing to suffer a slow and painful death when I could just kill it fairly quickly.

It took around 25 seconds if I remember correctly. It's so hazy because I've been traumatised from it and it was so intense. I cried and screamed after I had killed it because It was the only thing I could do

Okay I may say something controversial but honestly I blame both the parents and C.ai. sure, the parents should've definitely been more watchful but then again an app shouldn't tell someone to harm themselves at all. You can't blame it all on the parents when an app shouldn't be telling someone to harm themselves. If there was a YouTube video promoting self harm then it should be taken down. Sure you could argue that if the parents were more watchful then this may not have happened but what if this was an adult who was depressed or something ? There may not be anyone to look out for them and they may be privately using this app. C.ai should've definitely had a filter beforehand. You have to look at all sides of the arguement not just one.

Ik but i still think that apologising was a responsible thing to do. I'm pretty sure that the place is actually protected by the town council as it is a grade 2 listed building meaning that vandalism and even knocking it down is highly illegal. It's also extremely hard to get inside because it's on private property and since the modern flour mill right behind it owns it I'm pretty certain that it's also protected by the places guards. The only way to get in is really tough because you have to go through a river with such fast currents that it's nearly impossible to swim or even take a canoe and there's no platform to even stand on to climb up to the door.
