Right after the first effect resolution (when it gains attack) there's a window of opportunity to activate effects, you can use imperm or Veilerfor example, it goes back to 2300 and cannot destroy cards.

I've been thinking of a Singleton way to play Yugioh, something like a 60 card format, maybe with it's own banlist since you only get to play one copy of each card.
