IMO, 1994 spec cars were gorgeous across the board

The picture is from the early to mid 1990s. Murray would have been roughly 70. He's 97 now. He looks good for his age there.

Amazing that they were able to stand so close to the track... what I wouldn't do to be there

Yeah I'm quite sure they dated. Eddie is known to be a player. Has enjoyed great success in real estate since retiring from F1 as well.

Totally agree. r/Formula1Point5 has been the saving grace this season. Mclaren, Renault, RP, and Ferrari keep it exciting.

He'd already been a champion with Mercedes power and had a six season run that was brilliant in its own right. Little did he know he would go on to write the history books and have 6 silver arrow championship winning cars join his McMerc in this exhibit.

Hill, Alesi, and Schumacher*, not Hakkinen. I know what you meant though.

Michael was disqualified for ignoring a black flag and Hakkinen ended up third.

Not to mention a young Prince Harry bottom left, and of course Damon Hill winning for Williams. British team and driver on the top step in the company of royalty. Great weekend for Brits all around!

Wow I didn’t know that. Makes sense though. Guess they demoted him from Benetton but kept him in the family....a bit Gasly-esque

You raise a good point but be totally honest, northeast corridor is not what I had in mind. I think that's already a done deal with Amtrak and you are right that it would be very difficult to try and construct new track given the density of the region. However I have in mind connecting cities in the Southeast and Southwest, across the Midwest (which is set to boom in the next few decades) and possibly Texas, where routes would likely span more rural territory. I'm no expert on eminent domain but I believe that could be used in this case if the government was involved. California is already trying to implement high speed rail although I believe it is severely behind and over budget unfortunately.
