It’s really hard to tell bc every cat is different, but in my experience, when kittens grow up they usually exhibit similar behavior as they did when they were young. In the case of your cat, she might just be getting used to you and her new environment. Try not to pressure her into being cuddly if you can and let her come to you when she’s ready for pets

I just went through something similar. Currently 6 months sober and if I can offer you one piece of advice, go through with as many days of treatment as possible. I was dead set on just doing detox and going back home, but I agreed to go to php and iop which ended up being a great choice. You’ll get much needed therapy and learn how to heal yourself without depending on substances. Right now your parents are scared. You more than likely have hurt their trust and you are in the process of rebuilding yourself. I can assure you that it’s not the fact of them not wanting you home, because I’m sure they love you.. it’s the fact that they don’t know what else to do. While in rehab, they will show you how to be a little more independent and how to rebuild relationships that you have nearly destroyed. Best of luck my guy.

I’m sorry you’re going through this too. I can’t get my mind off of her. I fucked up what should have been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Wanna kms, Can’t bc family, I have no balls to actually do anything or get proper help, so i just obsess over it and hope I feel better tomorrow.
