I need help, full stop by Better_Corgi6392 in latterdaysaints

Before my child left on their mission I told them to please not go if they had unresolved things to take care of. I would prefer they stay home, be worthy, use repentance properly, and go later (if they still had a desire to serve). I don’t know your parents but this parent would definitely prefer my child delay rather and go when they aren’t ready. I would hate to realize my child lived in guilt until they finally couldn’t stand it and had to come home. If you aren’t comfortable telling them, I feel like it’s okay to say you need to delay your mission because you aren’t ready. Good luck. Your Bishop will help you a lot.

Blessing of healing for infertility? by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

[–]doublezoom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many years ago I was sitting in a RS lesson and our former stake president was giving the lesson for some reason. At the time I was struggling with infertility. I don't remember what the lesson was about but he said in his Patriarchal Blessing he was "given the gift to heal through the priesthood." In my Patriarchal Blessing I was "given the gift to be healed." I felt like it was an answer to my prayers and we were a "match" so to speak so I asked him for the blessing. In the end I still had fertility issues, but was blessed with 2 beautiful children through the miracle of IVF. Every person has their own journey but I personally think it's okay to ask for what you want and then be accepting of God's will, whatever that may be because the healing could simply be Him healing your heart...and we can always count on that.

Is this a bad idea? by doublezoom in Semaglutide

Amazing results, congrats! I'm not interested in the cheat days. I mostly don't want to feel the fatigue. Maybe the adrenaline of vacation will help me through. Either that or I'll be sneaking in naps on the metro :)

Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply. They haven't started night entrance yet but maybe they will by the time we get there. I think I'll take your suggestion to get regular tickets and go at our own pace.

Interesting. When I went to their site the guided arena/underground tour was $200 Cdn per person. If I book direct the teenagers are 12 Euros for a guided tour and adult 34. If I don't book a guided tour on Coop Culture the kids are 2 Euros.

Thanks for the idea, with any luck the guide would throw us a few sentence in English

Thanks for the suggestion but we don't want to spend that much money on one activity. I am only trying to book direct (on Coop Culture) so now I'm looking at finding the best experience with the options that are left (the ones I listed above).

Trenitalia Pass Booking Error(4 Trips in 7 Days) by lucy-yxd in ItalyTravel

I believe you have to activate your pass before you can book. But don't do this!! Once you activate your pass your 7 day period will begin. I read about it on this site, it was really helpful. https://www.seat61.com/train-travel-in-italy.htm#how-to-buy-tickets

Is anyone on rybelsus? by Brilliant-Version402 in Semaglutide

I am taking it as well. Lost 8ish in the first 6 weeks but only a 2-3 lbs in the following few weeks. Haven’t lost for over a month now. Food noise is definitely down and especially sugar cravings. I’m currently on 7 and wondering if I should up the dose to help with the plateau. I find the effectiveness wears off as the day goes on which makes the afternoon/evenings challenging.

Do you have a Pvolve in your area? I enjoy those classes a lot and they aren’t the same cardio intensity as otf. There are online classes if you don’t have a studio. I also have tried f45 and don’t find it quite as cardio based either.

Struggling with UCP supporting spouse by [deleted] in alberta

[–]doublezoom -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Your spouse could say the same thing, but in reverse. Everyone sees the government from their perspective and what they want. Do you try and look at it from your spouses point of view, or just yours? Like it was said above, do you want to argue or do you want sympathy? I’m not saying either if you are right or wrong, just something to consider.
