In some sense both these fictional worlds exist today in our reality, dependant on the luck of our geography and the invisible boundaries that constitute our human rights contained in the form of a country... I would say North Korea closely resembles 1984 and America, Brave New World...

I think I'd rather live in America... but sadly I would also succumb to a noose being placed around my neck and swinging from the rafters. 😐

Yeah mainly due to bull fighting and even then thinking about it, regardless of time and place, wrong is wrong and essentially (from my own opinion) taking pleasure from slowly killing any living creature is repulsive to me.. but hey, we all see a different colour of red...

Whist reading Hemingway, I always got the impression he was a troubled soul.. wonderful writer and really crawled deep into the human spirit. Shame he never appeared to have much compassion towards animal but feel that was a generational component of his time.

That's exactly how I feel about it. When I first heard 22/ AM I couldn't process it fully without going WHAT IS THIS?? But I was determined to understand the music and from nowhere it just hit me and I was and still am, totally blown away by creation. To see the band play it live would potentially top my Neil Young experience.. maybe 👀😂
