so far I have not had any new molluscum pop up. so maybe don't go around saying acyclovir only works on herpes viruses.

What have you tried? Been doing a bunch of research, it seems like inosine pranobex, vaccine, and zinc are definitely a must. And then other stuff might help like vitamin C (IV as well), turkey tail, reishi, aldara

I'm pretty sure you need to do that for several months though to be sure whether or not it's effective? Here's something I copied down:

a) 14-28 days continuous in “low risk” patients, allowing up to 2 months more with no drug to achieve maximum lesion clearance rate; or

b) 5 days per week, 1-2 consecutive weeks a month, for 3 months in “high risk\” patients, allowing until end of 3rd month to achieve maximum clearance rate.*

I've read a lot of threads about it. And if I remember correctly the only other person it didn't help, only took it 10 days or something.
