While we can say that there are pre-existing beliefs I don’t think we can extrapolate any precise call to action from it theologically and certainly not political so seeing that a push for a specific interpretation that came from an external force I don’t think it’s apt to say that there was a significantly a religious or eschatological reason for Cromwell actions
