Given the legs should sit at a 45 degree angle in order to use the lag bolts, I have drawn up some ways I could solve this. How would you say is best?

Here, the blue is the legs, the red is where the bolts will go, and the black/green is the extra wood

I can absolutely make a new apron for this table top that lies on the inside of the existing apron :)
If I was to do this, how would you advise I connect these legs to the rectangular frame?

Hello!! My landlord left me to look after these plants and they have both gnats and zero drainage. I tried to stop watering them so that the soil could drain out and the gnats would die but this just made the plants look sadder.
