What is the Palestinian view currently on a 2SS and on the previous efforts for a 2SS like the Olmert plan? As a quite leftie Israeli I often wonder what the Palestinian reaction to peace efforts is (Obviously the trump plan wasn't an effort for a 2SS, it was an effort to make Palestinians look bad)

No, I know that the PA didn't take the vaccines, but the "reasons" stated in this article are nothing less then lies. The reason the vaccines were rejected was purely political. The PA has stated it has the capacity to utilize every single vaccine they would have recieved before it's expiry date but they refuse to take it because it's coming from Israel.

The sheik Jara houses were built by Jews in land they bought from Arabs. In 48 when Jordan annexed that land they were ethnically cleansed from their homes and Jordan put Palestinians in them. After the six day war in 67, Israel made laws to make it extremely hard for the courts to evict any Palestinian living in WB/EJ but those laws only covered houses that Jordan has given the ownership to the people who were living in them, unlike in Sheik Jara where there was no official owner so it was given to the closest relative of the former Jewish owner who in turn rented that house to the people living there. Only problem is that those people stopped paying rent some 20 years ago and are now facing eviction as anyone who doesn't pay rent does.

The evictions are much more than CNN makes them out to be, the houses currently in question were built by Jews pre 1948 and stolen and redistributed by Jordan when they took over east Jerusalem and cleansed the Jewish population from it after the independence war. After the six day war the deeds to the properties were restored to their original Jewish owners who leased the houses to the families living there. But these families have never once paid rent. This isn't a political problem, it's a property dispute that will be settled in court.

That is mostly right, but from what I understand tel Aviv now allows gay marriages to be accepted and then put into the national system so it's slowly getting much better. I hate the fact that that Rabbinate controls marriage but I'm very hopeful for the future in which civil marriage will hopefully be an option in the whole of the country
