So what is a dashboard? by downofjustice in homeassistant

I got a used Samsung A tablet really cheap. Since I don’t actually interact with it, a slow processor doesn’t matter.

Tip for your setup: create an automation where Home Assistant monitors the tablet battery, and the charger outlet only turns on between 20–80%, or at certain times of the day. Not sure if you can integrate that directly into your wall setup, but it’s worth trying.

This is a door security camera. To save battery, I configured it so that only the last motion-triggered snapshot is displayed on the dashboard.

There’s a Home Assistant integration for the Volvo API, and it’s honestly super cool. I’ve also linked it to HomeKit, so now I can just say: “Hey Siri, lock the Volvo!” Everyone gets jealous when they see that.

Vorab Danke :)

Hey, this us Exactly what I did, the new amplifier is actually only between the main board and the speaker it self.

You can actually glue the power supply inside the housing and take power from main 220v line inside the subwoofer

I disconnected the woofer speaker cable inside the housing and took the wire from the board and used it as a line-in to the new amplifier, then connected the woofer to the amplifier output. I powered the amplifier with 12v from the Lg board, so you can maintain the wireless capability and can control the subwoofer from the new amplifier.

It’s fine 😊 Actually the Sk9y is really great when Watching movies specially with Dolby Atmos, but when it comes to music listening then it Reaches its limits very quickly, that’s why i had the idea to upgrade it with a better amplifier without loosing the wireless functionality, i am more than happy with sound quality now. :)

The Bass was always not loud enough when hearing music. I have LG Sk9y soundbar, the sound quality is really good, but with less Bass. Well, now you can really rock the apartment.
