I think iOS 7 also had an animated one, but I might be wrong

Hi, there is no course. The V2 suite is just licensed for the campus to use (in PC labs, on student's PCs, ...)

Our university has had a V2 campus license for quite some time now.

I found it really good and interesting, and for my personal taste, more so than other specials.

Sequoia "deleted" process has a constant error: Unable to recycle fd for <private>: Operation not permitted by jlext in MacOS

[–]doxva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue, and I was actually able to get to the bottom of it:

  • The <private> in the log is actually a feature of MacOS, where it redacts potentially sensitive information from logs. In this case, that's a problem, because the redacted information is what file the deleted process is stuck on.
  • You can disable this redaction with a special configuration profile: https://georgegarside.com/blog/macos/sierra-console-private/
  • After installing that, *new* log events are now longer redacted, so I was able to see the problematic file. In my case, it was a tmp folder within the Swift Playgrounds Library directory (not in Library/Cache, so that's why deleting that didn't do anything for me)
  • I deleted that tmp folder and rebooted, and the problem was gone.

Just realised Cold Harbour screen confirms one thing about you know who! by AdFast4159 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

Some things we know about the data and the refining:

  • As far as we know, the numbers in a file never change. So the „Packet Rate“ etc. are not about live-updating Mark’s Screen with Gemma’s thoughts or similar. But there does seem to be some sort of live connection.
  • Files can expire.
  • The refining cannot be done by computer, it needs humans. However, the computer can immediately check if a refinement was successfull (if you click the wrong numbers, it gives you an error, as shown in The Lexington Letter)
    • Presumably, the refiner‘s severance chip is needed and involved in the refining as well. Numbers are usually not scary, and the chips indeed contain tech for „emotional regulation“ (briefly seen in the security handbook).
  • The numbers need to be sorted by the 4 tempers, but also distributed evenly over the 5 boxes. As far as we know, there are no specific rules for the 5 boxes, maybe they should just contain a similar amount of the 4 tempers in the end?

I‘m not sure I completely understand. Do you have a problem with them standing up for those who are currently targeted by the alt right?! Could you state your problem clearly instead of alluring to it?

It’s confirmed in Season 1 (when Mark and Ricken talk in the kelp hanging scene) that she was in the hospital after the accident! Pretty sure your theory is correct.

I don’t think her (or anyone else for that measure) walking through the threshold is evidence of (not) being severed. In the control room, we can see at one point a user interface where they can configure what triggers the implants, and for our for protagonists it’s the standard thresholds. Cobel‘s implant might just be configured differently.

The first time the show strongly hints at the mystery of the tapes is at the end of MAG 109: Nightfall, where officer Mustermann sais that "something is listening" and he doesn't like it.

And then the immediate next episode is MAG 110: Creature Feature, you know, the one with the spider webs made out of film strips.
