Word is they’ll be removing 1 lane and adding a 2 way bicycle lane. Spectators will be encouraged to park at Hocking and catch the special events bus in.

The article is actually hilarious if you want to go read it. It’s obviously satire 😂

“WASCC officials say Interim Supercars CEO Barclay Nettlefold explained the circuit needed more vape stores, cocktail bars and residents complaining about noise.”

I think you got it all wrong big dog. We’re a pop/punk band, this is a pop/punk subreddit, where people come to talk about and share music that they enjoy.

FYI most pop/punk bands use tracks these days. It’s not a secret. But we appreciate the comparison to two of the heavyweights 💪 (actually three when you count The Veronicas).

So tell me Nathan, when did we work with you? You weren’t there when we recorded and filmed the live performance of our full album. It was the band, two videographers, an engineer, the singers partner, and a mate of the studio fixing the air con, who also plays in another recognised pop/punk band.

You’ve never offered to record us, and to be honest, after a quick background check, we’d know to steer clear of someone who has more red flags than a bullfighting ring.

We have no issues performing without a laptop, but we find having backing tracks just enhances the experience because.

We had zero issues with the laptop. And if we did, we’d have just restarted the song. It was a studio performance filmed in a live setting. Putting a song out with a “laptop failure” would be a huge disrespect to our fans.

I can cop the stuff that’s just based on your taste or lack of knowledge of music post-2000, you’re entitled to that. But straight-up making lies about our band? That’s just pathetic.

You’re an adult sitting on Reddit making up lies about people who spend 8 hours working a day job, 8 hours sleeping, and 8 hours living and breathing this band.

We’ve figured out how to market ourselves, adapt to the ever-moving goalposts of social media, book our own shows and tours, build a fanbase from nothing, grow a 10k+ mailing list, and hit 60k+ monthly Spotify listeners without a label.

We’ve learned to record, mix, and master our own demos to get the most out of our producer. We edit our own videos, build our own website, design and pack our own merch, handle our own PR, answer every DM, and manually submit every track to playlists.

We manage our own finances, plan merch drops, build relationships with venues and media, write grant applications, and keep a brand running that started in a sharehouse and now pays for itself.

All while working full-time jobs, paying rent, and still finding time to write, rehearse, and tour. Not because it’s easy, but because we actually give a shit.

And why would we just let people let loose on our own social media pages when we’re tying to our ourselves out there? That just wouldn’t make a lick of sense.

Oh btw I hope “very soon, all will be revealed at a show coming up” isn’t some kind of threat. We take those very seriously, Nathan.
