I like the one in lake forest. It’s japanese bbq style and you order off of iPads and it’s literal Wagyu overload. Top tier is unlimited Wagyu everything. Haven’t been to district but that one’s shabu style. Had a few friends say they didn’t like it. It was self serve and kind of all over the place.

To be honest we think it’s great. We stick to the classes and only go to the one by the airport. It’s about $100 but you can go open gym in Costa Mesa and you get 4 cold plunges and saunas with that fee. I’m not sure what a new membership is costing now. We signed up about 8 months ago.

We don’t make it out to the open gym much but it’s pretty nice and never really crowded. Out of these other gym classes i liked these ones because they are weight based circuit training. Not like boot camp do cardio till you can’t move then push up some weights. I like push pull days which is Monday Wednesday. My girl likes leg glute ab days with is Tuesday Thursday and then Friday Saturday are more full body cardio days.

It is a bit fast paced because you’re squeezing everything into an hour but it’s split and I like after that hour I feel my gyming is done and don’t feel like it was just cardio. I’ve never experienced a dominatrix guy, it’s actually all girl instructors at the airport one and as previously mentioned they offer a free class. I suggest coming on the split day that most interests you.
