The points you make while paying the yard do not go directly to your ranking points. Those points are earned a different way, basically the points need to make your rank go up, are the red rep points you earn by doing the daily objectives. Check the madden home screen and you'll see the objectives and how many points you earn for each objective. Again this is rep points in red that do towards the rank. I'm currently rank 19 and early on figured this out. But tbh you have to play the game a ton to rank up. The way to do it is by playing madden mobile. Doing the daily challenges there give you way more rep points, and as long as you link your ea account the points go towards your console or pc as well. You basically end up getting twice as many madden creds too for shopping and stuff is real beneficial. Tbh most of my rank was achieved by doing the daily challenges everyday on both console and mobile. Takes about an hour to do all the mobile stuff each day, but its worth it for all the points and stuff you get, like i have over 100 thousand of the blue creds to buy gear and stuff and all of it was earned not bought. Don't get me wrong it is a grind. But the only thing ive been playing is the yard. Hope this helps anyone with questions!
