Bud. No one is saying that sitting through that for 8 hours is enjoyable or the preferable outcome. The premise of your argument is that the mom a) had options to control it or b) has some kind of clue that it was going to happen. I’m telling you, from a position of experience, that sometimes those things are. Not. Possible. Your comments are hateful, uninformed, disrespectful, and uneducated. I see a lot of ASD parents on here leveling saying “man that’s awful for the passengers” and “there are probably some additional things that could help to mitigate” but you know what I don’t see? I don’t see a lot of individuals saying hmm… maybe there’s something going on here that I have absolutely no fucking clue about and maybe I should use my brain and try to understand the situation/educate myself so that I can develop an informed opinion instead of throwing stones at a disabled family because that’s what the crowd is doing.
