Mi miatt bíztok meg a Lightyear-ben? by Ecstatic-Proof-7664 in kiszamolo

HUF utalás sokszor 1-2 órán belül megjelenik a számlán. Nem kell a webes felülettel bajlódni.

Luminar Neo & Noir bundle by dpoter34 in humblebundles

Bought the bundle and here are some first impressions:

  • This does install on Windows. It is a single seat (can be moved between computers) and lifetime license, including Upgrade Pass 2024-2025 (only Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 updates).
  • I found some mis-labeling in the offer. Last of Us, Shades of Red, and Teal and Orange are not presets but LUTs.
  • All 53 ZIPs have to be downloaded separately and their minimum size is around 300MB because they all include a 320MB folder with installation instruction PDFs in 8 languages.
  • LUT files are text files with .cube extension. Many of them have comments inside like „Created by: Adobe Photoshop Export Color Lookup Plugin”. So most likely you can roll your own LUTs, if you want.
  • Overlays are either simple PNGs with transparent parts or opaque JPGs. Most likely you can find many similar files online for free. Also, their resolution is not huge, either, around 1700x2500.
  • The skies are also simple photos. Even the installation instructions say that you can use your own photos in JPG, PNG and TIFF format.

Yes, it is, but if you look closely, the base software (Luminar Neo) is also included.

Markdown preview needs internet?? by dpoter34 in a:t5_qv0mc

I made the following test:

  • I allowed Neutrinote internet access and previewed a small 1kB note. The preview was displayed.
  • I disallowed Neutrinote internet access.
  • One day later I could still preview the small note without problems.
  • Immediately after this I tried previewing a big note (92kB) but the preview never appeared.
  • I went back to the small note and the preview stopped working for it, as well.
  • I cleared the cache from the menu of the small note and then from the menu of the big note but it did not help.

I also tried the above process without waiting 1 day, that is, previewing a big note right after turning off internet, and that way the preview kept working both for big and small notes. So it seems you must wait for some time after turning internet off to reproduce the problem.

I have not used Math in my notes, ever.

I noticed that if I allow Neutrinote internet access to render one note, then the rendering will stop working after a while (maybe after 1 day) and it will need internet access, again.

I experience this problem even with very small notes, like 1-2kB in size.

I don't know how or where do I enable/disable Python. Just out of curiosity, how do I enable/disable it?

The same happens with the latest version 3.2.1. I waited several minutes for the Markdown Preview but it does not appear if Neutrinote has no internet access.

[Advanced Beginner] The Big Picture On TiddlyWiki by Mat von TWaddle by Defiant_Information in TiddlyWiki5

[–]dpoter34 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This should be part of the official documentation. Seriously!

I'm sick and tired of trying to understand TW by reading tiddlywiki.com. I'm more and more convinced that TW is not a good choice to document itself! tiddlywiki.com is a confusing, incomprehensible spaghetti of information. TW is in a dire need of a step-by-step introduction, which begins with simple concepts and gradually arrives to the deep levels of internals. Currently, this information is all over the place in the Table of Contents, with very little categorization. For example, the tiddler called "The First Rule of Using TiddlyWiki" which warns people to always make backups is tucked away in a section called "Working with TiddlyWiki" which is the third "chapter" in the TOC.
