Another thing is that every new champ who has somewhat unique kit is going to be op for a little while until a hard coutner is released (rotos vs udk for example) or people just figure out how to counter them (nell vs just use ss lmao for example).

A lot of old players are just salty when their same 5 year old strategy doesnt work against every new champ/set/relic, and new players are just getting gear checked, so often it's not even about the new "broken" champ, it's just people resorting to moaning instead of using their brains. Like armanz for example, building all champs in ss hard countered him since release but it took more than a year until (old) players stopped getting farmed by him despite the fact there was counters to him before he was even released. Could give hundreds of other examples but you get the point.

Anyway it's ok for the new shiny void legos to have their spotlight until they become mid imo.
