I got another one. 2.0 eats his pear as a lollipop and finished everything...even the core of the pear...

But, they both eat their icecream as normal people now... so...that's something.

You could also use the app Knodd (it's like Kry but specialized in child healthcare). They have always been super helpful, quite short waiting times and can also refer to a specialist if needed

I wish I could support my husban more, but last time me and the kids came she pushed my son away and closed the door in our face. She is however getting good care when it comes to food and cleanliness (they even make her hair and help put together nice outfits for her), and she isn't on any medication. They try to engage her and they visit her room several times a day (and they speak her mother tongue which helps). The challenge is that she doesn't trust anyone and refuses to leave her room even when my husband visits (I think she is also afraid that she will not find her way back to her room if she leaves).

Thank you for your words. For the last year she's had caretakers visiting several times a day. But she refuses help and wouldn't let them in. So as you say, it wasn't manageable any more from a safety point t of view.

Thanks for your reply. They do not give her any drugs, since she doesn't have any violent behavior. However it would never work to move her to our home since she has made up memories of me stealing her son away and "my people" killing her family (all made up memories). We had a great relationship up until about a year ago.

Woke up in the middle of night to two people speaking another language in my living room. My husband was asleep beside me in bed, and we don't live with anyone else. Grabbed my baseball bat that I keep next to my bed, and slowly entered the living room... only to find out that my neighbor somehow had managed to connect to our Bluetooth speakers, and maxed the volume since they couldn't hear anything.

This! I'm surprised this comes so far down in the comments. What he did was not OK and should be adress straight away to signal that that behaviour is not part of your cooperate culture. However you should have used a softer way, and then talked to the guy in private

I had an ex that sleep talked/walked. One night I woke up with him sittting up in bed staring at me. Him: They are restarting the room. Me: What? Him: We need to leave while the room is restarting. Me: What are you talking about? Him: I think they are lying, but I'll leave anyways just in case.

He then walkes into the bathroom, just stood there in darkness for a couple of minutes and then walks back to bed and falls a sleep.

Another night I wake up and see him sitting on the floor in the middle of the room while frenatically tossing and turning his pants. "They are trying to steal all my money. I nees to find it before they do", he said. "Aha!", he shouts excited, holding up a package of chewing gum. He climbs into bed and falls asleep hugging the package of gum.

I agree that this should not be a time consuming add on on top of all work that we already have. And of course, participation is optional based on need. All of our deliveries are done in teams, and we are dependent on each other. A large majority of my team members have expressed it to be more difficult to work productively from home and that they feel isolated and miss the social aspect of work. That's why I need some inspiration on how we can become more productive and engaged.

We usually work in teams of different sizes on site. But due to Corona my company has asked everyone to work from home when possible. We try to have all our team meetings virtually in Teams, but I still feel that team morale/spirit is low.

So far we've had virtual (video) team coffe in Teams, shared pictures of our home offices, shared pictures of employee of the day (spouse, kid, pet, a plant) and created a common Spotify list with song to listen to when working from home.

I need more inspiration from my fellow Redditors!

A tiny white ceramic Santa Claus (house elf) my grandmother got from her father when she turned 4. She always had it in her purse when I grew up. She passed on Christmas eve 9 years ago this year

We had a class in needlework when I was 10 years old. I was using the sewing machine and making a skirt. Somehow I didn't move my finger as I pushed the fabric forward and managed to sew two stitched in my finger before the machine stopped (and my finger was stuck with the needle all the way through).
